As the Prime Contractor for National Grid, United Civil completed Charles Street electrical distribution ductbank install project in Providence, RI. Performed during coordinated night operations, the project included the installation of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 6-way, 5-inch conduit connecting existing manholes throughout the downtown corridor.

Following installation, United Civil completed the restoration of over 7,500 square feet of sidewalk in high-traffic areas adjacent to student housing, ensuring a seamless return to daily use.

The project was executed with strong coordination alongside concurrent contractors and active work zones, maintaining efficient progress across all phases. This infrastructure upgrade enhances system reliability and supports the growing energy demands of the Providence area.
