This is a tightly phased restoration of the existing exterior infrastructure of the Church Plaza reflecting pool above a live parking garage. Our scope included, concentrated areas of concrete demolition, layout/drilling over 1,500 drainage holes through the structural roof slab of the garage, installation of expanded poly-styrene geofoam lightweight fill system, HDPE drainage mat, expansion controls, and form, place and finish the new concrete topping slab. This was accomplished while maintaining strict load restrictions on the garage roof slab. Logistics, dust, and noise abatement were particularly challenging due to the project location in a densely populated, high traffic area.
