This project involved a multi-utility infrastructure package of water, sewer, and electrical power, an elevator pit and interior footings for a new, multi-purpose arena addition at Lavietes Basketball Pavilion.
Demolition work included removal of the sidewalk trench drains, as well as the existing sewer, water, and electrical lines. New water services, hydrant and water gates were installed and connected to the existing water main. The team maintained strict protection of 20-trees, light poles and numerous blue lights in walk area. Logistical and schedule challenges were immense for this congested campus project.
