This job involved the installation of a new gas line at the Hanscomb Air Force Base in MA. Our scope of work included the trench excavation, backfill and install for an HDPE gas line, including two steam-crossings, a gas easement crossing, as well as the installation of (7) gas vault boxes, pads and bollards, and the removal and disposal of four underground fuel oil tanks- (3) 2,500 gallon and (1) 4,000 gallon, including up to 1,000 gallons of fuel oil disposal.
Additional scope included cutting and capping existing piping to tanks, and demolition/restoration where required. This project required precision while working in a live military base environment, with multiple in-street crossings.
